The Wired Next Fest, which will be held in Palazzo Vecchio from September 28th to 30th, arrives in Florence for the third time. This year’s theme will be “Simplicity”. The aim is to tell how innovation, new technologies, the use of big data and artificial intelligences are able to make life – of individuals, companies and organizations – simpler.
Digital is indeed a perfect tool to put people at the center, giving them more freedom and opportunities.

Admission to the WNF18 in Florence is free but registration is required on the site.
In 100 shots the great journey in humanity of Steve McCurry (Darby, PA, 1950). It’s the theme of the retrospective ‘Steve McCurry. Icons’ that from June 15 to September 16 at Villa Bardini brings together the most striking images of one of the greatest masters of contemporary photography that exhibits for the first time in the Tuscan capital.

It will be possible to get on the Tower of Arnolfo from 9.00 am to 9.00 pm (the ticket office closes at 8.00 pm). The complex of Santa Maria Novella opens from 12 to 18.30. In the square Santa Maria Novella, the Museo Novecento will be open from 11:00 to 20:00.
Forte Belvedere is also open, currently hosting the “Gong” exhibition by Eliseo Mattiacci, from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm (last access at 7.00 pm).
The Bigallo museum will be open from 10:00 and 12:00 (reservation required)

From June 27th to July 2nd 2018 all quidditch fans will meet in Florence to attend the Quidditch World Cup races organized by the IQA. With 31 participating countries (including Italy), Florence is preparing to host for the first time in Italy the biggest tournament in the history of this sport.
